Default What time do your horses come in?

Mine come in any time between 3 and 6 depending on weather.

Also what time do yours go out in the morning?

Do yours get mucked out anytime after coming in? I try to get over to muck them out before I go to bed, or if they are in early Ill muck out and top up haynets around 7ish.

When they were stabled I brought them in just before it got dark during winter so that was about 5/6pm, during the summer then didn't go in until around 9pm.

They go out about 8/9am during winter and 7/8am during summer.

I use to get everything ready in the mornings so there was no need to rush around at night.

Only 3 of mine come in at the moment and the they go out about 8am and come back in around 6pm, i muck out and do nets usually after ive put them out and leave the beds up and then put them down again and do water before i bring them in at night

soon they will be coming in earlier though as i dont like trudging to the muck heap in the dark..

Mine goes out at about 7.30am and comes in approx 6pm, sometimes a bit earlier depending on the weather etc.

On a "normal" day she doesn't get a muck out after coming in but if for any reason the weather is horrendous and she comes in early I'll skip out before I leave the yard at about 7.30pm.

I have to bring Ted in at 4.30, as that is when the other horses come in and he doesn't like being left in on his own.
