Default Transport Blues!!!

It's all arranged to collect my new mini horse this Saturday and after much tooing and froing, I managed to arrange a towing vehicle a few days ago. Then I secured a trailer (plus another kind offer of a trailer from Sah - Bay Chaos) ........ now my towing vehicle has fallen through (belongs to my sister) so I'm left with a trailer and nothing to tow it with arrrg !

I may have to wait until the following weekend now when a friend of mine has kindly offered to do it (she's away this weekend). I think it's time I got rid of my car and replaced it with something 'towable' - I hate having to rely on others for transport and I feel really really bad asking people to help out.

Pointless post, just want to get that little micro-midget home!

Your car looks hardy enough too tow though?

What about magics owner, haven't they got anything or know of anyone that could bring him over?

What about one of the women at your yard?

I can completely empathise with that situation! I got so sick of being let down by people with regards to transport I ended up buying Mabel. Best thing I ever did, even if my bank account violently disagrees!

Trying to think which car I was driving when I came to visit you, I think it was the silver Insignia? That's OHs company car and he isn't allowed to put a tow hitch on it. My BMW has a much bigger engine and could easily tow but again no tow hitch. I've thought about putting one on but I don't think my car would be very happy towing on anything but roads with those low profile tyres!!

I would love a lorry, would be absolutely ideal and actually if I could sell my car for a decent amount, I could possibly get a small lorry plus a little car for every day use.

My feral friend once transported a Sec A yearling in the back of his Transit van...

Think it was Loumoo's Dylan actually!

He made a special box in the back of the van to contain him. Apparently he travelled fine. They got pulled by the police (FF ALWAYS gets pulled by the police), and the policeman almost fainted when he heard a high-pitched whinny coming from the back of the van!

we once transported a foal in the back of a volvo estate, it was a bit of an emregency to be fair and she travelled laid down

with the little one not weighing much you could of just risked it with a normal car im sure if you had a hitch on it
