Ambers Mum can tell one end of a horse from the other
Default If a horse could talk .....

Today I found out more about Amber.

In July last year she was given away as a companion to a family who promised her a forever home. I found out the RDA sold her when she was 18 to the lady I spoke to and she only gave her up on the promise that Amber had a home for life and she asked if she could have her back if the new persons circumstances ever changed. Since then Amber has had 3 other homes on the passport plus the dealer that took her to Henley, Emma and now me.

So the RDA and the woman were both upset by this news, both sing Ambers praises and both want to come and see her. I have no idea why she has been sold on so much because apart fromher ditching me twice now due to spooks and the odd bolt she is a lovely mare and very genuine. All I know is some one out there made big profit, selling all her tack and the pony which were all given away together.

The poor old girl must be wondering how long she is going to be with me now......

Aww that is sad (poor Amber)-some horses get passed around from one home to another-no wonder some of them are mixed up. Never mind, at least you love her!

Its so sad as she has has been with me 4 months and Emma had her 3 months the dealer tried selling her for about 2 months so the other 3 names on her passport had her about 6 months in total between them just two months each in theory.

Poor girl, so sad At least she's in good hands now!
It must be so confusing for any horse to go through that, it doesn't surprise me that so many horses look like they've gone numb to the world when their owners first get them
