Default Ive done it again!

Yup im back on crutches!!!!!

This time I did not fall from my horse but fell from the muck heap ramp - doh!!!!!!!

Yesterday morning I was coming down the ramp dragging wheelbarrow behind me and foot slipped causing my knee to bend inwards...remember lying on the ground thinking my leg shouldnt be pointing that way, next, overwhelming pain.....breathe breathe breathe...then get up and quickly finish mucking out (even went back up the ramp!!)

Went to town to get a big bale of hay and between me and my 12 year old brother got it out trailer and into container.

Woke this morning to severe pain after a very sleepless night....casualty......

result - grade 2 tear in my cruciate ligament and lateral ligament (both sides of knee).

I know im accident prone but I really do take the biscuit sometimes!!!!!

Sorry for my overuse of smilies but im somehow trying to distract you from the fact I am a total numpty!

Oh no not again. I hope you're not in too much pain now. How long do you have to use the crutches?

Fougere - Ive an appointment at the fracture clinic in 2 weeks time but could be on crutches for 6 weeks.

Doc told me if it had been a grade 3 tear Id have needed surgery to repair...so I guess im lucky!!

Bloomin ech! You are about as accident prone as me!!

I really do feel for you thou, the frustration of being on crutches again

I bet you are real angry with yourself too.

Well, look on the bright side. We are still in winter ish time, if you behave yourself and dont push it, you should recover well enough in time for the summer riding.

I hope you get better soon.
