In this weeks magazine the top visited forum thread is this title but I can't find it on the forum, even using the search facility (am not a member).
I am not advocating Rollkur but find it difficult to find any information or website that gives riders' and trainers' reasons for using it though I can find tons of images, videos and articles condemning it. In the interests of building my knowledge base and trying not to condemn things without at least trying to understand them . . .
If anyone knows how I can find it it or could pm me a link I would be most grateful and would willingly send virtual chocolate cookies as a thank you.
Chocolate cookies to Casper - thanks for the link!
Sasca that is why I want to find out more. I just don't know enough about it aside from the howls of disapproval. There seems to loads of stuff about it being cruel and should be banned. I have also read Gerd Heuschmann's book. But nothing of why trainers and riders use it and the thinking behind that - and I have seen it used a lot, not just in dressage so obviously plenty do and there must be reasons for that. I am trying to keep an open mind until I learn more. Hopefully the HHO thread will enlighten me or point me in the right direction. - <<<<goes off to look>>>>
