Default Hackamore nosebands

Do any of you wonderful people know where I can buy replacement hackamore nosebands?

I don't need the metal shanks I only need the padded noseband part. I don't mind if it is synthetic or leather but I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere.

I know I can make one myself out of a leather strap and padding but I am after a ready made one as they look a bit nicer, I just can't find any for some reason.

I am watching a few second hand hackamore on eBay in the hopes I can get one cheap enough to just buy soley for the nose part but just in case that doesn't work out I could do with knowing where to find one online if I need it.

Can anyone help? lol

No luck at tack shop and to be honest I have no idea where my local saddler would be. *toddles off for a look for saddlers*

Thanks Rhea

******! Found the curb chain but not the noseband piece. I did find a separate noseband on the Jefferies website but the cost was so much that I could buy the whole noseband plus steels for the same price elsewhere! lol

I even contacted my local saddler to see if they could make me one. They said they'd take a look in their drawing archives to see if they have a pattern as it's not something they get asked for often.....haven't heard anything since then and that was a week ago! lol Oh well....

Thanks for all the hints guys but still no luck.

I did get a reply from my local saddler and they would like £45 for just the noseband. I know it would be made to order and great quality but that is just too much for my poor budget! Ah well....back to using home made stuff! lol
