Smile My amazing news
For the past year ive been riding a friends horse in repayment for caring for both him and his little girls pony when he cant get down.
Shandy is an amazing cob, my ideal horse and we have a great partnership. I have fallen on my feet completely getting to look after and ride him.
Recently his owner has been talking about possibly selling him, money being tight and all that, and that really upset him knowing that i cant afford to buy him at this moment.
Was at my parents tonight and out of the blue they said that if came to it and his owner had to sell him then they would buy him for me because they know how much he means to me. I have shown them how much i am dedicated to him and both they and i know i can afford to 'keep' him, its just the inital buying thats the problem at the moment.
They are really non-horsey people who are gradually coming round to loving them as much as me. My mum even asked if she could come down and maybe have a ride on him at some point.
Just wanted to share that with you all, it was so unexpected and has put a huge smile on my face.

How amazing! My parents did the same to me when I was 15 (6 years ago now) and it has been a brilliant 6 years
