Default would you pay to talk to an independent nutritionist

A friend of mine is thinking of setting up her own business where horse owners can phone for independent advice on feeding, supplements etc. As you can get free advice from all the feed companies she is not sure if an independent service would have a market. What do you think? and would you pay to speak to someone 'independent' and how much would you pay?
thanks

I'd speak to them if it were free but I wouldn't pay for it not with the amount of advice available, I've also come across companies who will recommend another company's product if they don't have what suits

I wouldn't no. Would she actually come out and assess your horse or just do advice over the phone/net?

Also a lot depends of course on her experience and qualifications and what she has to show for it!

thanks for your thoughts. I don't think she was planning on visiting people unless they were very local as time and travel costs would make it too expensive. I thought it might be a good idea as people would get unbiased help, and not just a company trying to sell their product, but then again the latter is free of charge!...

No because all of the major feed companies have nutritionists and it's free for their advice, if I didn't like one brand I'd go to another. I don't really see how she can make money being independent, she'd be better off going to work for a company.
