Default New pony's here! Meet Sandy!
I'm please to announce Sandy arrived this morning, along with a very full wardrobe She has more clothes than I do!

Apart from trying to rush off the trailer, she was really calm after off loading. Just stood having a good look around, then I lead her to the field and she was as calm and quiet as anything. I put her in the field adjacent to where Silver and Kita are, and she didn't even go over to say hi, just started grazing quietly. Kita was desperate to have her come over for a chat, but it has taken almost the whole afternoon for Sandy to finally stroll over for a chat Even then she didn't get very close! After taking these pics I put a headcollar on, and rugged her for the night. She stood perfectly still the whole time I fiddled and faddled. Soooo easy!

My only concern is that she seems a little stiff in her front legs. I don't recall her being like that when I first went to see her. I'm hoping she may just be a bit stiff after the journey. She is nineteen after all!

aww she looks and sounds like a real sweetie!
I'm sure the stiffness is nothing to worry about, it could easily have been the journey - and it's a bit cold at the moment so that may not have helped.
