Default Equine Iridology - would you use it?

HI there,

As some of you may know (those who read the Horse Health section) I'm focusing on learning alternative therapies for horses this year. I've just stumbled across a great course in equine iridology - the study of the iris to find problematic areas within the horse. You can't diagnose illness or disease, but you can see where the problems are located, etc etc.

If it were a service offered to you at an affordable rate, would you use it? Why? Why not?

Sorry, it might seem like a random question but I'm trying to decide what I want to learn and can't make up my mind. This would be an extra string to my bow, so to speak, and not my "main" therapy, but am I only looking at it because I'm interested, or would other people be interested to? What do you reckon??

Thanks

I haven't heard of it, but I know that the human eye can show things like cholesterol problems, is it along those lines? (Atch, hang on I'll google it!)

I am not sure if it is the kind of thing I would get someone out on to do on its own, but maybe as part of a package? Kind of alternative health check! I mean if you were doing say the horse communication then at the same time you could offer something like this? As I think a lot of people use the communicators when maybe conventional vet medicine hasn't been able to bring up an answer?

Oh I thought they did Jane.

Yes Susan, it's exactly what you thought it was. It would be another string to add to my bow so somethign that I could just do for a minute or two when I first see a horse that maybe I've been asked to do Bowen or acupuncture on.

It's not something I would do as a one off thing without anything else as it can't offer solutions or even diagnoses, it can simply guie you to a problem area.
I had someone look at my eyes and they were spot on with where my problems were.

LOL to the communication thing....I think for a lot of people it's a last resort!!

I would

I'm into anything different and holistic. I did look into doing a course on this myself but that's as far as I got

You can tell so much from the eyes, you really can
