Default Legs filling when stabled

Hey everyone,

Couldn't think how to title this post as Zebs legs used to fill but don't anymore? They would be quite bad at the last yard where all horses lived in 24/7 over winter. We've been at our current yard over 2 years and I'm sure I've seen it but not in a long time!

I'm just curious, there's as much turnout as we want here but zeb has been living in for the last 2 wks as his turnout Rug has been sent off for washing. His legs have been fine?

Is it just the general increase in turn out throughout the year that has improved his circulation? He's 22.

Any ideas?

Its quite possible. Scotties circulation is a lot better here yet hes living in apposed to turned out.

It can be down to such things like if they are happier where they are compared to before [or vice versa]
Many horses lay differently in different stables, stable sizes and bedding [even if the same material] different mucking out or routine timescales can all contribute to it, and will influence their bodies for the good or bad.

Congrats on a healthier Zeb!
