Benni is about 16 yrs old. 16.2hh Swiss warmblood. My sister bought him from Switerland when he was 4 1/2 yr old and competed him at dressage. She only manage to get him to elementary so decided to give up with him and try to sell him. No one was interested as he is quite lazy so I took him on full time as I was hacking him at weekends anyway. From day one he was fairly bombproof on the roads as a 4 yr old. I have been riding him full time for about 3 years now I think. I have competed up to Novice on him and got several shows lined up this year for him. But I am also looking for a sharer now as I am fed up of riding 6 days a week and he is the sort of horse that needs regular work or he gets even more lazy! lol
Recently bought him a new saddle and he is a lot easier to ride with that. He loves to jump but I am not very brave myself so I do not tend to do it too often. He is pretty much a saint to look after and brilliant for hacking out on own which I enjoy more than going in company at times!
